In late 2022 Global Helium acquired what it believes are high-potential land positions in a proven helium producing region of Southeast Alberta, along the Manyberries Helium trend. The Company has identified two drilling locations and has begun the permitting process for their initial test well, which is expected to commence drilling in late Q2 or early Q3 of 2023. Global ended 2022 with cash of C$3.2mm versus C$9.1mm at the end of 2021. It reduced management compensation towards the second half of 2022 to conserve cash and discontinued its corporate marketing campaign in Q2'22.
