Another mainstream article on natural hydrogen has been published, this time by S&P Global. Geologic hydrogen is gaining attention as a low-carbon fuel source, with growing investments and exploration companies eyeing its potential. Demand for hydrogen is projected to rise significantly, and geologic hydrogen could play a crucial role in meeting this demand. While it has the potential to reduce emissions and gain government support, challenges exist in terms of financing, disruptive technology adoption, and the need for extensive research and exploration to unlock its full potential. As exploration activities progress, geologic hydrogen's role in the clean energy landscape may become clearer.
