Canada Export Pricing Finally Breaks US$400/mcf Mark

Canadian helium export pricing has remained at US$350/mcf levels since the time Canada has been producing helium. These prices are considerably lower than all other regions globally which are currently trading helium at ~US$500/mcf levels. However, pricing has finally jumped above the US$400/mcf mark to US$445/mcf and US$415/mcf in Aug'23 and Sep'23 respectively. This trend is likely to continue as Canadian producers slowly reach out to a wider market in the US and as lower priced, long-term contracts roll-off.
