Blue Star's JXSN#4 exploration well into the Galactica prospect in Las Animas County, Colorado, encountered both the Upper and Lower Lyons sands, which both flowed gas to the surface. The JXSN#4 exploration well was drilled to a TD of 1,043 feet, with a preliminary gas composition analysis showing 6.5% helium, which is significantly higher than 2-3% in initial 3 wells and was in line with the company's thesis that it would find higher helium concentrations to the north of the field. Stabilised initial flow rates are still to be release but are likely to be similar to the initial wells. The results are encouraging Blue Star to press ahead with development wells on the field
