Avanti Achieves Record Helium Flow Rate from Montana well

After successful drilling of the WNG 10-21, Avanti Helium has announced the completion of its Helium appraisal well, which has been measured at a total gas rate of over 20 mmcf/d at 1,250psi surface pressure. This flow rate is more than double the most optimistic projected rate and is one of the most prolific in the last 20 years. The gas consists of 1.0% Helium, with Nitrogen, Methane, and CO2 making up the remainder. Avanti is currently running production tubing and downhole pressure gauges and will be followed by further production testing. This appears to be a high quality find that will add to North American helium production in the coming years.
