Algeria's giant gas discovery could boost helium production

Algeria's state oil and gas company Sonatrach announced a ~8tcf discovery that could be producing as early as November this year. Whilst there is no detail on the helium content, it is in the same area as the existing key helium field Hassi R'Mel. This could increase throughput for the the existing LNG and helium plants leading to an uptick in helium production going into 2023.
