45-8 Energy raises €1.3mm for French helium production

45-8 Energy, the first company dedicated to helium exploration in Europe, has successfully raised €1.3mm in the midst of the economic crisis. Its permit contains a gas flow that escapes naturally from the subsoil to the atmosphere, composed mainly of helium and carbon dioxide. The company is looking at the potential to produce helium, natural hydrogen and capture the associated CO2 that is currently leaking from the ground.
