Saskatchewan to Promote Helium Trade in Japan and South Korea

Saskatchewan Trade and Export Development Minister Jeremy Harrison is leading a delegation to Japan and South Korea to discuss new trade opportunities, with a focus on promoting the province's natural resources sector, including critical minerals, uranium and helium, and highlighting the importance of partnerships in food security and energy transition. Within the helium sector, this is a potential positive for North American Helium, Royal Helium, Avanti Helium and Helium Evolution.

The mission aims to develop and diversify existing links within economic sectors, as well as establish new and innovative ways to sustainably develop resources. Saskatchewan currently exports more than $1.5 billion to Japan and South Korea. The trade mission is set to last until February 9.
