Blue Star Helium cleared to drill Serenity helium exploration well

Blue Star and its partners have been granted the final permit to drill a helium exploration well at the Serenity prospect in Las Animas County, Colorado - drilling is expected later this quarter. The well is the first of four wells proposed to be drilled in the Sammons Ranch Oil and Gas Development Plan that was approved by the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission earlier this year.

Blue Star Helium Limited advises that the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) has approved Vecta’s final permit to drill (Form 2) for the Sammons 315310C helium exploration well within the Serenity prospect located in Las Animas County, Colorado.

Vecta’s planning for execution of the Sammons 315310C well is advanced with drilling expected to begin as soon as practicable this quarter.

The Sammons 315310C well is the first of four wells proposed to be drilled in the Sammons Ranch OGDP, which was approved by the COGCC earlier this year. The well is located in the Area of Mutual Interest (AMI) agreed between Blue Star (50%, non-operated interest), Prospero Oil and Gas LLC (25%, non-operated interest) and Vecta (25% operating interest).
